Faculty of Education

Foundation:

In 1382 AH, the Ministry of Education issued a resolution for founding the Faculty of Education and study started in it one year later. The faculty firstly comprised two departments; the Arabic language and social studies in addition to the English language. In 1391 AH, the Faculty of Education became one of the faculties of King `Abdul-`Aziz University in Jeddah, but it has been adjoined to Umm Al-Qura University since its foundation per a royal decree in 1401/1402 AH.

Islamic and Comparative Education	Planning and Educational Administration
Curricula and Teaching Methods	Art Education

The faculty also provides pedagogical preparation studies for female students of other faculties.
