Staff Services Department
This department was established in the year 1416 A.H, to provide services to the teaching staff, and has been an incredible asset to the teaching staff since its beginning.
This department is entrusted with the following tasks:
- o Providing assistance to female teaching staff in obtaining registration forms and acquiring the forms for them from the designated office.
- o Providing assistance to female teaching staff in participating in conferences, lectures and workshops outside the University. The department assists them in obtaining their plane tickets and their travel allowance.
- o Providing assistance to female teaching staff in bringing their parents or children for visits and acquiring the necessary permission from the office in Jeddah and then following up the process at the Ministry of External Affairs on their behalf.
- o Helping retired Saudi female teaching staff in finishing their papers for retirement and all their financial issues.
- o Working with foreign embassies for certificate approval for new contracts.
- o Coordinating with the telecommunications department in Jeddah to provide mobile phones for the staff members.
- o Coordinating the financial department to ensure that all teaching staff receive their pay or any other financial allowances.
- o Following up on announcements of employment, promotion, or vocational leave of teaching staff, and ensuring the appropriate actions are being carried out.
- o Providing teaching staff members who are traveling for further research and study with an official letter to the Saudi Consulate in the country they are visiting to ensure them receiving proper assistance and support.
- o Updating the annual booklet on the teaching staff, which is awarded to all those affiliated with the University.
- o Assisting the teaching staff members who wish to receive books, documents or research papers through coordinating with local and international cultural and academic institutions.
- o Alerting the teaching staff of invitations to attend upcoming workshops and conferences.
- o Providing the teaching staff with their own University ID and business cards.
