Services offered by the Student Affairs Office

Student Housing

  1. Male Student Housing:
    1. Saudi Students must provide the following documents to be eligible for student housing.
  • i. Paying the required fees for the housing by depositing the required amount in the Student Housing bank account in the National Arab Bank, Aziziya Branch.
  • ii. For each semester, the student deposits 1100 Saudi Riyals in the account number 01008200667100.
  • iii. A deposit amount of 500 Riyals in the account. number01008206676000.
  • iv. Providing those documents to the Student Affairs office, after which a rental agreement is signed.
  • v. A photocopy of the latest educational degree.
  • vi. Six (6) photographs.
  • vii. A photocopy of the student's ID.
  • viii. A copy of the student's class schedule.
  • ix. Filling out the necessary application forms.
  1.  
    1. Non-Saudi Students must provide the following documents to be eligible for student housing.
  • i. A photocopy of the latest educational degree.
  • ii. Six (6) photographs.
  • iii. A photocopy of the student's ID.
  • iv. Attendance proof.
  • v. A copy of the student's class schedule.
  • vi. Filling out the necessary application forms.
  • vii. A photocopy of the student's passport and residency visa.

 

  1. Female Student Housing:
    1. Female Saudi Students must provide the following documents to be eligible for student housing.
  • i. The student must present proof that she is not a resident of Makkah.
  • ii. A student who was dismissed from her previous dorm due to breaking the dorm's rules.
  • iii. Proof of admission to the University.
  • iv. Provide a portfolio which contains a photocopy of the latest educational degree, family card, medical history, guardian's letter approving the student's stay at the dorm and two photographs of the student and the guardian.
  • v. The guardian must coordinate with the director of female student housing to arrange for the student's exit card.

Student Exit Card

Steps guardians of female students are to follow to obtain student exit card:

  • * The student is to check with the female student's housing department in al-Zaher area, complete all necessary forms and meet all the requirements for student housing.
  • * 2 photographs (4x6)
  • * Photocopy of the family ID
  • * Proof of being related to the students (in case the guardian is not the father)
  • * The original document of relation approved by the vice dean for nutrition and housing.
  1. Student Nutrition:
    1. Students are to head to the student's restaurant on the main campus in Aziziya.
    2. Ask for the reduced meal coupons (obtained at the restaurant or the student affairs office) for one day or six days (up to your own preference).
    3. Meals offered to the students are subject to extensive scrutiny and supervision to ensure the best and healthiest choices of nutritious meals.
    4. The restaurant is opened for breakfast from six thirty till ten am, lunch from after Dhuhr prayer and until three thirty pm, while dinner after Isha prayer until eleven pm.
    5. Meals are offered to students are reduced prices:
  • i. Breakfast is offered for two Riyals.
  • ii. Lunch is for three and half Riyals.
  • iii. Dinner is for three Riyals.
  • iv. Prices are subject to unannounced change.

 

  1. Services to scholarship graduating students:
    1. After graduation, students are to receive the graduation diploma, recommendations and various certificates such as the good behavior certificate.
    2. Students are to check the needed documents for their travel plans.
    3. Students are to head to the student affairs office for scholarship graduating students, fill out the information form with the mailing address in order for the University to contact you in the future.
    4. The University will use the information provided and list your name in the alumnae newsletter which comes out every five years.

 

  1. Receiving the good behavior certificate:
    1. Please receive the confirmation of the Information Technology department at the Aziziya branch in Makkah, Dean's office in al-Ta'ef for students who attend the al-Ta'ef campus, the Dean's office for Activities and cultural affairs for the female students in al-Ta'ef branch and the female student affairs office in al-Ta'ef branch.
    2. Graduation diploma (original in Arabic or English)
    3. Check the academic information on the certificate.
    4. Signature of the head of the academic department the student belongs to.
    5. Stamping the certificate with the academic department's seal.
    6. Return to the office of student affairs for their final approval and stamp.
    7. Photocopy this certificate as many times as you need, then return to the office of student affairs in order for them to approve and stamp the copies as well.
