Administrative Units


Administrative units of the University include the following:

  • University Services General Directorate, with the following branch directorates:
    • University Services.
    • Occasions and Supporting Services.
    • Public Relations.
    • The University Press.
    • Housing Services.
    • Medical Services.
  • Projects and Technical Affairs General Directorate: The Projects and Technical Affairs Directorate has settled all matters relating to contracts concerning the different University projects. Documents and draft contracts have been revised and discussed with the executing parties, and were printed and bound. According to financial and administrative procedures, Copies of these contracts were distributed to the relevant authorities after they were signed. There are three types of contracts:
  • Contracts concerning implementation of projects.
  • Contracts concerning provision of spare parts and equipment.
  • Contracts concerning operation and maintenance.
  • Planning, Budgeting and Administrative Development Directorate: The functions of the Administrative Development Unit include the following:
    • Selection of university employees for training and preparatory programs offered by the Institute of Public Administration.
    • Nomination of participants in the special training programs offered by specialized training centers and companies.
    • Sending university employees to obtain academic degrees (Bachelors, Masters, Ph.D.) locally or abroad.
    • Preparation of training courses and training programs in the university.
    • Construction of training programs for the university employees.
    • Resolving administrative problems for other units whenever they arise.
    • Presentation of training issues to the permanent training committee for approval.
