The Deanship of Admissions and Registration was founded in 1976 including the following units:
1. Admission and statistics:
This administration is concerned with the acceptance of new students and all the other activities that relate to it such as organizing interviews, evaluation of certificates, especially those from other countries, preparation of the new students ID cards, and coordination with the university faculties the acceptance conditions that relate to their respective departments. The Directorate of Admission and statistics also prepare the statistics of the male and female students of the university.
2. Registration, Time-Tables and Computer:
This administration prepares the academic calendar, time-tables and the other registration activities such as students and examination results lists, entering and announcing examination results, withdrawal, follow-up and computer programming of all the directorate's activities.
3. Documents, Graduation and Certificates:
This administration is responsible for the follow up of graduation requirements for each department and the preparation of final documents and certificates. It also is responsible for the translation of the university certificates and other documents to the English language for presentation to others outside the Kingdom.
4. Academic Guidance:
This administration is responsible for the academic guidance of new students and the other concerns that relate to transfer from a department to another, or from a university to another.
5. Financial Aid:
The financial aid administration is concerned with making decisions on financial aid eligibility and monthly payments, and all other decisions on different types of payments and allowances.
6. Administrative Affairs: This department is responsible for the administrative affairs of the deanship and the follow-up of personnel performance. It is also responsible for clerical, typing, archiving and photocopying activities.
7. Academic Follow-Up and Monitoring:
This department is responsible for the follow-up and monitoring of students educational performance in the light of academic standards and the period allowed for acquiring the degree. The department also prepares reports on the suspended students and raises it to the admissions and registration committee to take the necessary actions.
