Nursing Program

 

The Nursing Program features only one specialty, namely, nursing. Through this specialty, a student is academically qualified in the field of nursing through the study of a set of curricula that seeks to render students aware of all requirements of highly qualified nursing profession.

Objectives:

  1. Application of nursing skills in the assessment and diagnosis of health problems.
  2. Application of therapeutic nursing techniques.
  3. Exercise of skills of leadership and management to promote nursing and health service quality.
  4. Application of scientific and behavioral skills in the provision of nursing care.
  5. Education of public assistance to meet their health needs and adaptation to health changes associated with illness and recovery.
  6. Application of nursing profession values and ethics.

 

  Department Equipment and Potentials at hand:

First: Scientific Laboratories:

  • Nursing basics laboratory.
  • Child nursing laboratory.
  • Critical case nursing laboratory.
  • Gynecology laboratory.
  • Surgical internal nursing laboratories.
  • Basic department laboratories.

Second: Classrooms and Halls: are equipped with the state-of-the-art means of medical education.

Third: Medical Colleges Library: equipped with recent medical references and books in the specialties of the College.

Nursing Program Careers:

The Program graduates can serve as clinical nutrition specialist in all health sectors in the course of health Saudization policy.
