The University Medical Center

Establishment:

The University Medical Center started to offer its services in 1397 A.H. It is considered a branch of the University Medical Center in Aziziya. It offers its services to students, staff, employees and residential units.

Services:

First: Medical Services:

• Examining the patients among the students and the employees, and giving them medications. In case a specialized doctor is needed, they are sent to the clinics of the Medical University Center in Aziziya or public hospitals.
• In case there is an emergency, a doctor and a nurse are sent to give first aid as required; the patient might also be brought to the emergency room of the Medical Center or carried to the nearest hospital.
• Performing the medical examination for new students at the beginning of the academic year.

There is an emergency room in the administration that offers the following services:

• Giving injections for the patients.

• Changing bandages for the wounds and burns.
• Giving oxygen for asthma and allergic patients.
• Following up the cases that require first aid.
• Providing medicines for the apartments on a monthly basis.

Second: Administration Services:

• Authorizing the medical reports issued by private and public hospitals, clinics and health centers.
• Coordinating appointments for patients between the Medical Center and Al-Nur Specialized Hospital.
• Making transfers and inquiries to all the governmental and national hospitals, health centers and clinics.
